Clinch and Knees Flow Drill

In this video we’re discussing the need to adapt in dynamic clinch situations. All too often, we tend to obsess over a specific position and when we can no longer hold that spot, we are not ready to transition to another. We’re looking at a start from a common grab you find in most KM systems. From there adapting to their movement with an overhook, then adapting further with a 2-on-1.

Once you get the hang of that flow and how it works with the movement of your opponent, you can begin to implement striking. I this case we just threw in basic knees using a mitt.

Give it a shot. See what you think!
