When introducing dynamic movements and concepts, we want to make sure we build progressions for the student (or ourselves) so that we can build towards hitting them in real time. All too often we have a tendency to drill the movement from a technical standpoint, then go straight to trying to hit it full speed, and we skip the idea of progressing towards that dynamic application. This is a simple drill to help people begin to use arm drags, duck unders, and head clears in progressively more dynamic situations.
Give it a try, see what you think!
