Focus / Delegation / Boundaries

“There’s just so much to do and I feel like every time I get one thing done something else comes up.” “I made a list of things to get done this week and at the end of the week, I achieved none of them.”

Can you relate?

I’m hearing these frustrations from many gym owners right now.

It’s very easy to find yourself pulled in many directions.

I’m going to lay out three simple concepts in this post to help you get on task.

I’ll expand on these concepts and give you specific drills you can take action on in following posts.

Let’s do it!

1. Find focus. What is priority. What’s the one thing you can focus on that will make everything else easier or unnecessary?

2. Delegate/Remove. Analyze your strengths and passions. Where is your attention best placed. Everything else, work towards delegating or removing so you can be where you’re needed most.

3. Set boundaries. Your planner is your super power. Plan your actions, communicate your plans and the support you need from those around you, stay on point.

These concepts help you to create the space you need to take action on the important tasks and keep us from being distracted by “urgent” tasks that are unimportant.
