I first learned this technique in 2009.
Get stacked by your opponent while attacking the armbar, secure the arm, swim under the leg to change the angle to sweep them and finish.
I’ve revisited it, and hit it numerous times since then.
Drilling and teaching this the last two weeks, I’ve learned so much more about it.
Another simple and friendly reminder that what I know right now is limited by my current level of experience.
And that it will continue to expand, evolve, and grow in the future, as long as I choose to progress.
What we know in this moment is way more than what we knew five years ago.
And what we know now, is far less than what we can know five years from now.
There’s always room for growth, progress, and a deeper understanding.
Life is a process.
Go forth and be awesome! 😎
