
Between our phones, radios, work and family schedules, TV, and everything else in life, our brains rarely get a moment to wind down.
This consistent need to be stimulated can begin to create a type of chaos or fog in our minds.
We forget things, feel rushed, get overwhelmed, lose control of our emotions, and so on.
Taking time each day to sit in silence and simply be still, can be very powerful.
To take that a step further, doing a short intentional meditation does wonders to clear the fog.
The last few months, I’ve woken up early 3-4 days a week.
I make a cup of coffee, do a five or ten minute guided meditation, and sit in silence for 15-20 minutes.
It’s positively impacted my mood, my clarity, and my sleep in incredible ways.
